We are starting to offer ceramic tiles with
abalone shell tiles. These are ideal for trim in kitchens, bathrooms, or
for light-traffic residential floors. They are NOT recommended for
high-traffic flooring (as they will dull and scratch over time) or for areas
where intense heat may occur, such as near fireplaces or above range
hoods. They are also NOT recommended for use in or around pools where harsh
chemicals can harm them. Use liquid cleansers; do NOT clean with
abrasives. The tiles have a ceramic base with an ultraviolet resistant
coating that enhances the natural shell color. Because this is a natural
product, there will be slight variation in size, shade, and pattern. The
tiles should be installed using unsanded grout. Two colors and three sizes are currently available. The thickness of 5/8 x 8" and 2 x 2" tiles is 1/4", while the 1-1/4 x 8" tile is 3/8" thick.

with abrasives. The tiles have a ceramic base with an ultraviolet resistant
coating that enhances the natural shell color. Because this is a natural
product, there will be slight variation in size, shade, and pattern. The
tiles should be installed using unsanded grout. Four colors and three sizes are currently available. The thickness of 5/8 x 8" and 2 x 2" tiles is 1/4", while the 1-1/4 x 8" tile is 3/8" thick.
